Before I tell you about me I would like to tell you why I created Plan Be and why I chose to make this my living. But, in the spirit of Positive Psychology I would like to begin by showing a little gratitude.
I am grateful for all the elements that came together and brought me to this point in my life. For my husband, our two wonderful girls, and the difficulties I faced whilst trying to be the best mother and employee that I could. I am grateful for all the failed attempts at trying to achieve the elusive work life balance which led me to realise that there is always a solution or an alternative, and that obstacles can me moved.
My initial plan didn't work out as I had hoped, so my solution was to move onto Plan B(e) and re write my future. I left my job as a Detective in the Metropolitan police and studied for a Masters in Psychology and Coaching, a subject I am completely enamoured and fascinated with. It may seem drastic, but it was the best choice for me and my family. I believe psychology and investigation are not so far removed from one another, both require the ability to delve deep, ask the right questions, follow the clues and see the bigger picture in order to find your way out of the woods.
I have chosen this path because I truly love to help people. It is my Ikigai - my purpose. As a coach I am able to help my clients discover the best within themselves and find the key that opens the door to a positive and brighter future.
I was able to write my Plan Be and so can You! If you are ready to begin your journey start with one little step and hit the button to find out more, or arrange your free discovery session.
